Every year, ALPFA recognizes an undergrad student through the Daniel Zamora Student of the Year award. This student is an active in the ALPFA community, maintains good standing in their academics, and stands as a role model to other students.

Overview

Every year, ALPFA recognizes an undergrad student through the Daniel Zamora Student of the Year award. This student is an active in the ALPFA community, maintains good standing in their academics, and stands as a role model to other students.

Minimum Criteria

The Daniel Zamora Student of the Year Award is awarded to an undergraduate student who:

  • Shows an extraordinary balance between academics and serving the community
  • Actively seeks to assist professional and student chapters meet target goals by devoting free time to the chapters.
  • Is a role model to the student membership
  • Is an active, paid student member in good standing with at least one year of involvement as a student officer
  • Is considered an ideal candidate for transition to the Professional Board
  • Holds a minimum GPA of 3.0
