Women of ALPFA will provide the scaffolding to inspire and elevate Latinas to reach their full potential; in classrooms, in workplaces, in families, and in corporate boardrooms. Through the Women of ALPFA and Most Powerful Latinas programs, we will affect societal change through the education, amplification, and career elevation of Latinas.

Women of ALPFA (WOA) is dedicated to empowering and developing Latinas as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy, through leadership development, networking, mentoring, and career opportunities.

Sarah Rueda is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. With a keen aptitude for understanding market trends and consumer behavior, Sarah is eager to continue learning and contribute her knowledge to new endeavors.

Paola Herrada, originally from Venezuela, is a finance student at the University of Central Florida. Paola has been part of the ALPFA UCF chapter since August 2022, where she has been part of the Revenue, Administration, and Corporate Relations Committees.

AnaCristina Blandon
AnaCristina, a native Colombian, has 15+ years in financial services, specializing in international wealth management. A Senior Manager at Scotiabank, she’s worked at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and J.P. Morgan, and holds a B.S. in Finance from FGCU.

Maria Jimenez
Originally from Peru, Maria is a seasoned, bilingual accounting professional with an MBA. She has experience in the private and the nonprofit sectors, holding senior management positions and leading teams in Latin America and the U.S. For the last five years she has worked at Your Part-Time Controller (YPTC), where she serves as a trusted advisor and controller for two nonprofits in WDC.

Maggie has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University. She holds a double Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Sociology and Urban Planning from Hunter College, City University of New York. She is Colombian - American and lives in Queens New York, with her daughter Maia.
