ALPFA Internship Touch Point Series, Part 1

This launch event will include a panel discussion of recruiters and professionals involved with the training of incoming intern classes. They will provide insight as to how interns can stand out and make their presence known as well as make the most of their internship experience. The panel discussion will be followed with a guided networking exercise and general networking.

8:15 – 9:00 – Mentor Introductions with Goal Setting/Strategy Exercises (for students in the ITP Program) and General Networking

ALPFA NY's Internship Touch Point Program

The main purpose of this program is to provide support to ALPFA students who have Summer internships. It will consist of six sessions (3 in person events and 3 virtual peer to peer monitoring exercises) where students will connect to mentors who will help them create goals and formulate a strategy towards making the most of their internship experience and attaining a full time offer or multiyear internship. At the three in person events students who will be eligible for internships next Summer (rising sophomores and juniors) will be in attendance as well to engage with the students who are currently interning and representatives from our corporate sponsors who have internship programs. 

If you are a student who currently has an internship or part-time job that can lead to a full-time opportunity and you would like to be a part of ALPFA NY's Internship Touch Point Program, please submit the following to alpfanystudents@gmail.com:
